As a highly concentrated substance, essential oils can be harsh if applied directly to the skin or too close to the nose or eyes, so it's important to note that the best way to experience aromatherapy safely is by diluting it with a water or oil-based carrier like a body oil or lotion, or by diffusing it.

Believe it or not, the blissful relaxation of slipping into a freshly made bed can be made even better. Add a few drops of the Sleep + Downshift Essential Oil Blend to a spray bottle, fill with water and dispense over your sheets as you make the bed or directly into the laundry basket when you take them out of the dryer. A few deep inhales of Roman chamomile, ylang ylang, sweet neroli, and bright petitgrain help release tension and before you know it, you’ll be drifting off to sleep peacefully. YOUR DAILY RITUALS

Whether you meditate, chant affirmations, or write morning pages, essential oils can help quiet your mind and deepen your focus so you can be more present. YOUR PRACTICE

Aromatherapy and yoga go hand in hand for us (quite literally). Add a drop of Breath + Spa Essential Oil Blend on the palms or to the chest (with carrier oil) before you start your practice to open the heart with floral notes of ravintsara, eucalyptus, and tea tree. The addition of scent (and specifically this signature blend formulated for times just like these) encourages deep, healing breaths while fresh peppermint and laurel leaf energize and inspire.

BATH TIME

Turn your shower into a spa-like experience by adding a few drops to the corner of your shower floor — if you’re looking for a way to enhance or maybe just switch up your morning or nighttime routine, this is it. Pro tip: a drop or two of Chill + Unwind Essential (Lavender) Oil in baby’s bubble bath is the perfect way for everyone to wind down and get ready for bed. Just be sure to use it sparingly (and consult a physician) for children — a little goes a long way.

HYDRATION + CLARIFYING TREATMENT
