Helping Girls Build a Better Future at the Girls Build Leadership Summit

10,000 high-schoolers, 1 day of inspiring talks

Civic engagement, female empowerment, women-led initiatives—we're passionate about all of it, which is why, for the second year in a row, we're thrilled to be supporting Girls Build LA, an amazing program within the nonprofit LA Promise Fund that helps girls in public schools across the county effect positive change in their local communities using STEM principles (science, technology, engineering and mathematics)! We donated 10,000 t-shirts to their annual leadership summit, a joint effort between Girls Build LA and Michelle Obama's When We All Vote campaign that brings together 10,000 girls for a day of super-inspiring talks. This year's special guests? Keynote speaker Shonda Rhymes, who urged young women to use their voice and exercise their right to vote, and students Delaney Tarr and Kyrah Simon from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, among others. Bottom line... It. Was. Incredible.
