Inside The First-Ever Alo House — A Magical, Week-Long Festival

A 360° Alo Experience

Last week, Alo hosted our first ever Alo House in our sunny hometown of Los Angeles, California. From Diplo trading his mixing table for sound bath bowls, the Skin Witch administering glow-up beauty treatments, and Lexi Wood impressing with her first acro yoga experience, this week-long festival was one for the books.

If you opened IG in the past few days, odds are you’ve felt some Alo House FOMO — but the good news is that we’re dropping all of the deets here so you can feel one with the A(lo)-listers.

Community is everything to us at Alo, and there was no better way to bring people together again for the first time this year than with a whole week dedicated to movement, wellness, mindfulness, and connection — and let’s just say, connecting IRL again did not disappoint.

Alo House translates the core elements of the Alo brand into a magical, physical experience — a 360°-Alo-fest. Organic food and cocktails, beauty and wellness activations, overflowing yoga classes, good music, better people and, of course, epic new product. This house became a vibey oasis that we’re still dreaming about.

With an Amass botanical aperitif in hand and a snapped pic in front of the Alo Bronco (which became the picture moment of the week), guests entered the stunning West Hollywood Alo House to hear the sounds of nonstop live DJ sets and feel the warmth of the summer sun and good company.

After getting decked out in head-to-toe Alo thanks to the gifting suite, guests mingled their way through the house to find a unique variety of ways to bring movement and wellness into their day (when they weren’t trying to convince Benny Blanco to let them in on his next track like we were).

The Mindful Masters cabana housed all things self-care and wellness. Through Alo’s Mindful Masters program, we’ve learned and grown with the help of these wellness experts but seeing them work their magic in real life was an honor.

Guests took part in card, intuitive, and crystal readings, plus the new buzz in wellness communities, ear seeding—an acupressure practice where Samantha Manka-Segal carefully places golden seeds in specific parts of the ear to reduce pain and tension in the body — it was an Alo House fave, to say the least.

If guests were craving a balancing of their energy, they could visit Nicolette Ficchi, who hosted private reiki sessions. If they wanted to see if how their stars were lining up, they could head over to Tulsi Bagnoli for a Vedic astrology reading or Greyson Kirby for a hand-painted birth chart.

Amidst this lineup of wellness activities, guests joined round-the-clock yoga flows with Natasha Marie, HIIT workouts with Ashley Galvin, and acro yoga seshes on the lawn with Jon Rea. A vibrant grid of Alo mats served as an oasis for first-time yogis and Alo Moves instructors alike showing off a sea of our new fave colors (hello Ocean Teal and Pink Lavender).

After finding some zen and bend in a yoga class taught by Andrew Sealy, or blowing off some steam with Kupah James at the punching bags, guests replenished at the wellness bar with a jam-packed fridge of Erewhon, Kin, and Oli Pop to name a few of our faves. After refueling, they headed to the hydration station equipped with IV Drip and B12 shots.

Because waiting an hour after eating before jumping in the pool is a must (just ask Olympic swimmer Calvyn Justus!), guests welcomed some R&R in the Alo Spa with a clean beauty treatment. Emma Goodman led Alo Glow System facials, Amanda Lee took Clare Crawley through a cupping sesh, and Danielle Lombard recovered with a Head-To-Toe Glow Oil massage.

With their new glow thanks to the Alo Spa, guests slipped into the Alo x Frankies Bikinis collection and sipped on a flower-adorned elixirs for a final pool party, before Susy Schieffelin ended the day with a blissful sound bath.

Whether it was the rejuvenating spa, the epic yoga classes, or the warm-fuzzy feeling of good company, we’re ready to do it all over again. The question is, where? Tag @Alo and #AloHouse to guess where we’re headed next or drop a suggestion of where we should go!
