The Craftsmanship
In Japan, there is a word: monozukuri. It is the philosophy of creating things with care, sincerity, and attention to detail.
Each frame in the collection is crafted with this philosophy in mind. Handcrafted and hand assembled in Japan, every frame undergoes a meticulous, multi-step process. Every detail is approached with patience, intention, and an unwavering commitment to quality.
The collection features premium Japanese acetate, titanium, and Arkema G850 nylon. The material of each style was selected with fashion and function in mind.
Japanese acetate, also known as Takiron, is produced by artisans who have spent nearly a century perfecting the material in Japan. Each sheet takes two months to extrude, four weeks to dry, and another eight weeks to laminate by hand. Colors are drawn from textures of Japanese daily life—washi paper, ceramics, lacquerware—resulting in tones of quiet depth rather than loud brilliance. The result is acetate with rare character and longevity that holds its luster, resists warping, and carries color like no other material.
The titanium is a lightweight material that's stronger than steel at a fraction of the weight for all-day comfort.
Arkema G850 Nylon is a flexible, highly durable material that was built for active wear. Styles crafted from this material feature a Beta titanium core inlaid along the inside of each temple arm to provide structural reinforcement and controlled flex.
